Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism
NJBAS considers any form of literary theft as plagiarism including self-plagiarism, text recycling and falsification of citations. NJBAS follow the COPE guidelines in dealing with plagiarism and as a first step to manuscript pre-review process;submitted manuscript is tested for plagiarism using the iThenticate plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with unacceptable levels of similarity (up to 35% similarity index) with existing electronic texts are declined for further processing and returned. Where there are reasons to believe print version of an existing publication has been plagiarized, the author(s) of the manuscript is/are advised to withdraw their submitted manuscript within 7 days. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to retract a published article proven to contain plagiarized materials.
